Documentation
Citec has the experience to produce the essential documentation, not only for quality assurance requirements, of information technology within organisations. These include but are not limited to:
- Information Security Policy
You need to establish rules that every user of your information technology resources understands that they must comply with. If you don’t then you may not be able to take action against somebody who causes damage or loss to information stored or processed on your systems. Citec can draft a formal policy document that suits your organisation.
- Acceptable Use Guide
This is a less formal document, often used as a supplement to information security policy, that is a quick reference for users as to what they can and cannot do.
- Procedures
Clear instructions on how to carry out various tasks on servers or workstations, etc.
- Technical Manual
Documentation on all aspects of your network infrastructure for your current or future IT support people.
- Service Level Agreements
If your vendor or service provider hasn’t provided a suitable one Citec can put this together, and even negotiate with the vendor, for you.
- Business Continuity Plan
The BCP is documented instructions on what to do to keep essential IT services operational after a failure or even a natural disaster occurs. Absolutely essential if your normal IT support person is not available and the worst happens.
